Baku Scientific and Training Centre (BSTC) welcomes you to the world of modern computer technologies.

BSTC is a research and educational establishment within the Informatics Scientific Production Incorporation (ISPI).

Our bulding

The BSTC is the leading performer of the country’s informatisation programmes and the leading centre in teaching basic information technology skills to post-graduate students in humanitarian fields.

The Azerbaijan Centre of Computer Technologies Enhancement and Training was created in co-operation with UNESCO/UNDP as part of BSTC.

The Centre has modern computing equipment, including 2 laboratories equipped with Pentium-based computers & multimedia workstations joined by a LAN. The computers are running UNIX, DOS, WINDOWS 3.1, 95 & NT 4.0.

BSTC closely co-operates with the Benevolence International Foundation (BIF), a charity establishment based in Chicago.

The BIF and BSTC offer discounted and free of charge courses of the English language and basic computer skills for refugees and poor layer of the population.

BSTC was chosen by the STACCIS program as the Center of Telematics Applications Demonstration in Azerbaijan.

The BSTC is the only representative of the Open University of the United Kingdom and the International Distant Learning Centre LINK in Azerbaijan. The University and Centre offer Professional Certificate in management, Professional Diploma in management and Master of Business Administration distant learning courses.
